Terms and Conditions
- Contract: Upon payment of the first invoice the client shall be deemed to be within a contractual agreement with Magpie Website Solutions and that client agrees to these terms and conditions.
- Timescales: Whilst every effort is made to ensure all work is completed within the agreed timescales, Magpie Website Solutions cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred for late delivery.
- Intellectual Copyright: Magpie Website Solutions holds the intellectual copyright of all written source code and graphic design until the completion of the project and payment of final invoice at which time the intellectual copyright will be transferred to the client. The source code is provided for use only on the clients domain name and cannot be transferred to another domain name.
- Domain Registration: The client is responsible for the continued registration of their domain name.
- Source Code: While every effort is made to test all source code and ensure all script is free of errors, Magpie Website Solutions cannot be held responsible for any losses caused by any malfunctions.
- Payment: A deposit of 50% of the cost of the website must be paid in advance of all work commencing unless a separate payment scheme has been agreed. Payment of the balance is required immediately upon completion of the website. Magpie Website Solutions reserves the right not to launch a website until the final payment has been made.
- Website release: Should the client wish to host their own website without a prearranged agreement there will be a release fee of £50 which must be paid prior to release. All code and database information will be provided.
- Quotations: Quotes are provided for the work included with the proposal document which is to be agreed prior to the first payment. Magpie Website Solutions cannot be held responsible to any information received verbally and advises that all correspondence is received via email.
